My Hennessy hanging in the garden (with Japanese graves in the background)
I bought my Hennessy Explorer Asym on Amazon just last month.
I only used this camping hammock once so far but I intend to bring it on hikes all the time and on every trip I make, just in case...
It's a single hammock but no simple hammock. As a jungle camping hammock it has netting to keep out mosquitoes and comes with a tarp to protect you from the rain.
It suits any temperatures above 5C. Rain, monsoons etc. are no problem. There is an optional accessory you can buy to make it 4 seasons though.
Its design and weight are its best features. It's about 2 pounds so perfect for backpacking.
In terms of drawbacks, if you use it while camping above the tree line (i.e. in the mountains) you just need to be imaginative when pitching your hammock. It's possible to use it as a tent if you manage to tie up the ropes somehow.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, and I do!
